These Terms & Conditions govern your use of TarteelAcademy.co and your registration for, purchase of, or participation in the educational services offered by Tarteel Academy.
By using our website, creating an account, registering a student, purchasing a service, or participating in our classes, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to the policies referenced within them.
If you are registering a child or minor, you confirm that you are the student’s parent, legal guardian, or otherwise legally authorized to register the student and agree to these terms on the student’s behalf.
1. Our Services
Tarteel Academy provides online educational services, which may include:
- Qur’an reading and recitation.
- Tajweed instruction.
- Qur’an memorization.
- Arabic language instruction.
- Other educational courses and programs offered by the Academy.
The specific content, duration, frequency, teacher, schedule, and price of a program will be shown or communicated as part of the applicable course, package, or enrollment process.
2. Student Registration
Students and parents must provide accurate and current information when registering for our services.
Where the student is a minor, registration and payment must be completed or authorized by a parent or legal guardian.
You are responsible for keeping your account information and contact details accurate so that we can communicate important information regarding lessons, payments, schedules, and services.
We may request reasonable additional information where necessary to determine the student’s level, arrange lessons, or provide the appropriate educational service.
3. Classes and Scheduling
Classes are generally provided online at scheduled times agreed upon between Tarteel Academy and the student or parent.
Students should:
- Join classes on time.
- Have a suitable device and reliable internet connection.
- Maintain an appropriate learning environment.
- Follow reasonable instructions provided by the teacher.
- Treat teachers, staff, and other students respectfully.
Class schedules may vary according to the selected program, teacher availability, time zone, and individual arrangements.
4. Teacher Assignment
Tarteel Academy aims to assign qualified teachers based on student needs, availability, level, language, and program requirements.
We cannot guarantee the permanent availability of a specific teacher.
Where necessary, Tarteel Academy may replace or reassign a teacher due to scheduling, availability, illness, operational requirements, or other reasonable circumstances.
When possible, we will seek to minimize disruption to the student’s learning.
5. Payments
Prices applicable to each course, package, subscription, or service will be displayed or communicated before payment.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers such as Stripe or other payment processors selected by Tarteel Academy.
By submitting a payment, you authorize the applicable payment provider to process the transaction using the payment method you provide.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their billing and payment information is accurate and that they are authorized to use the selected payment method.
6. Recurring Subscriptions
Certain services may be offered through recurring subscriptions.
Where recurring billing applies, the billing frequency and applicable price will be disclosed before purchase.
By purchasing a recurring subscription, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the selected payment method according to the disclosed billing schedule until the subscription is cancelled.
Cancellation of a subscription normally prevents future renewals. Refund eligibility for payments already processed is governed by our Refund Policy and applicable law.
7. Refunds
Refund requests are governed by our separate Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
Students and parents should review the Refund Policy before purchasing a service.
Eligibility for a refund may depend on factors including whether services have started, lessons already delivered, unused lessons, cancellations, and other circumstances described in that policy.
8. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Lesson cancellations and requests to change scheduled class times are governed by our Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.
Students and parents are responsible for providing the required advance notice when they are unable to attend a scheduled lesson.
Failure to attend a scheduled lesson without the required notice may result in the lesson being treated as completed.
Where Tarteel Academy or the assigned teacher is unable to provide a scheduled lesson, we will normally arrange an appropriate replacement, rescheduling, credit, or other resolution in accordance with our applicable policies.
9. Student No-Shows and Late Attendance
Students are expected to attend lessons at the agreed time.
If a student fails to attend without adequate notice, the scheduled lesson may be considered used and non-refundable.
If a student joins late, the lesson will normally end at the originally scheduled time unless Tarteel Academy agrees otherwise.
Repeated missed lessons or attendance issues may affect scheduling arrangements.
10. Technical Requirements
Because our services are provided online, students are responsible for maintaining:
- A working computer, tablet, or suitable device.
- A functional microphone and, where required, camera.
- Reliable internet access.
- Access to any communication or classroom platform reasonably required for lessons.
If a lesson cannot take place because of a technical problem on the student’s side, the lesson may be treated according to our Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.
If the problem originates from Tarteel Academy or the assigned teacher, an appropriate replacement or credit will normally be arranged.
11. Educational Progress
Tarteel Academy is committed to providing professional educational instruction; however, individual learning outcomes vary.
Progress may depend on factors including attendance, practice, effort, age, previous knowledge, lesson frequency, and individual learning ability.
Accordingly, Tarteel Academy does not guarantee a specific level, examination result, memorization target, language proficiency level, or educational outcome within a specific period unless explicitly agreed in writing.
12. Student Conduct
Tarteel Academy aims to maintain a safe, respectful, and appropriate learning environment.
Students, parents, and users must not:
- Harass, threaten, insult, or abuse teachers, staff, or other students.
- Use the service for unlawful or inappropriate purposes.
- Disrupt lessons intentionally.
- Share inappropriate material during lessons.
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or content.
- Misrepresent their identity or payment authorization.
Serious or repeated violations may result in suspension or termination of services.
13. Children and Parental Responsibility
For students who are minors, the parent or legal guardian is responsible for registration, payment authorization, and appropriate supervision where required.
Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that information provided about the child is accurate and that the child uses the service appropriately.
Personal information relating to students and children is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
14. Intellectual Property
The Tarteel Academy website and original educational materials provided by the Academy, including text, graphics, branding, lesson resources, recordings owned by the Academy, and other protected materials, may be protected by intellectual property laws.
Unless permission is provided, users may not:
- Reproduce materials for commercial purposes.
- Sell or redistribute Academy materials.
- Publish Academy content publicly.
- Copy substantial portions of paid educational resources.
- Use Academy branding without authorization.
Materials provided to students are intended primarily for the student’s personal educational use.
15. Recording of Classes
Students and parents may not record, publish, distribute, livestream, or commercially use lessons without prior permission from Tarteel Academy and, where applicable, the teacher or other participants.
If Tarteel Academy intends to record a lesson for educational, quality, safeguarding, or other purposes, any required notice or consent will be handled in accordance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
16. Third-Party Services
Our services may rely on third-party platforms for functions such as:
- Payment processing.
- Video conferencing.
- Email communication.
- Website hosting.
- Account management.
- Educational tools.
Use of those services may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of the relevant providers.
Tarteel Academy is not responsible for temporary outages or service failures caused solely by independent third-party providers that are outside our reasonable control.
17. Account Suspension or Termination
Tarteel Academy may suspend or terminate access to services where reasonably necessary, including in cases involving:
- Fraudulent or unauthorized payments.
- Serious or repeated misconduct.
- Abuse of teachers or staff.
- Security threats.
- Unlawful use of the service.

Where appropriate, we will seek to provide reasonable notice before termination.
Any financial consequences of termination will be determined in accordance with the circumstances, our Refund Policy, and applicable law.
18. Website Availability
We aim to keep the website and online services available and functioning properly.
However, temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, internet outages, security issues, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the website at all times.
19. Limitation of Responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Tarteel Academy will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting solely from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

21. Changes to Services and Prices
Tarteel Academy may update its courses, schedules, teachers, packages, features, or pricing from time to time.
Changes to pricing will not normally alter a payment already completed for a service unless otherwise agreed.
Where a change affects a recurring subscription, any notice required by applicable law or the applicable payment arrangement will be provided.
